Kitsap Bank has announced plans to relocate the downtown Bremerton Branch from 607 Pacific Avenue to 1000 Sixth Avenue, at the corner of Sixth and Warren next door to the newly opened Starbucks.  The bank intends to move its retail branch operations to the new location, freeing up much-needed space for administrative personnel at the current building.

“We are excited to move our Downtown Branch into this highly accessible and spacious location,” stated Tony George, President and Chief Operating Officer.  “This will be a significant upgrade over our current facility, and we look forward to providing an excellent banking experience for our clients in this completely remodeled banking center.

The bank is working with Rice Fergus Miller Architects on the interior design, and a local contractor will soon be retained for construction.  The branch interior will feature a clean, updated look and feel; and the new location will utilize the latest in banking technology, including cash recyclers and Interactive Teller Service.  Tenant improvements at the new site are expected to begin within the next few weeks, and the bank hopes to occupy the new location by the first of the year.  The branch will be staffed by the same friendly team of bankers our customers have come to know over the years.  Following the branch move, the bank will begin remodeling the Sixth and Pacific building, converting it entirely to administrative offices.
