Kitsap Bank employees were recently recognized by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation for their work in teaching Fraud Prevention courses to Jefferson County residents. Kitsap Bank’s Branch Managers, Kim Johnson, Belfair; Jan Ralls, Port Ludlow; Joy Balstad, Port Townsend, as well as Tammy Armacost, VP Regional Manager; and Terri Mansell, Kitsap Investment Services Financial Advisor partnered with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation to teach the first Fraud Prevention course on April 18^th in Port Ludlow. This course teaches important safety and security information to vulnerable citizens. “They knew their jobs, were open and friendly with the public, had a wealth of knowledge and melded with the rest of the team,” stated Doug Henderson, President of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation. “I was very proud to be a part of the event.”

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation is comprised of Retired Peace Officers and several businessmen from Jefferson County. Their purpose is to raise funds for projects that support the Sheriff’s Office, the staff and the citizens in the community.
