Kitsap Bank Employees Recognized By Jefferson County Sheriff's Foundation

Kitsap Bank employees were recently recognized by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation for their work in teaching Fraud Prevention courses to Jefferson County residents. Kitsap Bank’s Branch Managers, Kim Johnson, Belfair; Jan Ralls, Port Ludlow; Joy Balstad, Port Townsend, as well as Tammy Armacost, VP Regional Manager; and Terri Mansell, Kitsap Investment Services Financial Advisor partnered with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation to teach the first Fraud Prevention course on April 18th in Port Ludlow. This course teaches important safety and security information to vulnerable citizens. “They knew their jobs, were open and friendly with the public, had a wealth of knowledge and melded with the rest of the team,” stated Doug Henderson, President of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation. “I was very proud to be a part of the event.”

“We are proud to partner with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation to help teach those in our communities about Fraud Prevention,” stated Steve Politakis, Kitsap Bank’s Chief Executive Officer. “This is an extremely important topic for all of us, as we seek to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the growing threat of fraud.  Our team does tremendous job in helping educate our communities.  We truly appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe.”    

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Foundation is comprised of Retired Peace Officers and several businessmen from Jefferson County. Their purpose is to raise funds for projects that support the Sheriff’s Office, the staff and the citizens in the community.
