Kitsap Bank Names 2019 Scholarship Recipients

Kitsap Bank is pleased to present nine scholarships to the graduating children of Kitsap Bank employees who are going on to pursue higher education. Among this year’s scholarship recipients are:

“We are extremely pleased to provide scholarships to this talented group of students,” stated Helen Langer Smith, Vice Chairwoman of the Board. “At Kitsap Bank, we value education, and we are happy to help the children of our employees reach their educational goals.”

Trey Young will be attending Olympic College in the Fall. Chelsea Winslow will also be attending Olympic College, and plans to pursue Early Childhood Education.  Brooke Nelson will be attending the University of Washington where she intends to receive her degree in pediatric dentistry. Jae Min Cha will be attending Bellevue Community College before transferring to the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Ryan Budd will be attending Seattle Pacific University to receive his degree in Engineering.  Eliza Villarma will be attending the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business where she intends to receive her degree in Business Administration, focusing on corporate law. Nate Maxwell will be majoring in Business with a minor in Worship Arts at Azusa Pacific University. Brynna Maxwell will be attending the University of Utah, with a full basketball scholarship, and plans to study in Communications. Grant Garrison will be attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, where he will be pursuing a degree in Aeronautical Science, minoring in National Cyber Security.
