Q&A with Tammy

Q.  What’s your favorite thing about working at Kitsap Bank?

A.  There are so many wonderful things about working for Kitsap Bank.   My favorite is our company culture and all the great people I work with. We all share the same core values and are dedicated to our mission.  This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other working towards making a positive impact for the clients we serve.

Q.  What is your favorite thing to do in Sequim?

A.  Sequim offers an abundance of great activities so it is hard to just pick one.  My husband and I enjoy walking and biking on the great hiking trails, visiting the beautiful lavender farms, taking a long walk on The Dungeness Spit and enjoying great food at our local restaurants.

Q.  Why did you want to work at Kitsap Bank?

A.  I was initially drawn to Kitsap Bank because I heard so much positive feedback from employees who worked here about what a great company it is to work for.  Upon further research I was pleased to learn about Kitsap Bank’s community outreach through The Community Connection Program.  Giving back and volunteering is a significant part of my own personal values, and I remember feeling excited that a company values the community as much as I do.

Q.  What do you like to do outside of work?

A.  I really enjoy being outdoors working in the garden, reading a good book or just taking in all nature has to offer.  My husband and I also love to travel and explore new destinations.  In the summertime we spend a lot of time enjoying great riding roads on the Harley’s and visiting great little towns we run across.

Q.  What’s the best thing about working in your branch?

A.  The people! I am blessed to work with a great group of ladies who truly care about each other and our customers. We also have a great clientele in Sequim which makes it even better!
