Bottom Line--Kitsap Bank's Blog
An edg3 FUND Update
It was two years ago today, on Earth Day, that we introduced you to Kitsap Bank’s small business competition, edg3 FUND. We didn’t know how it would be received, but we wanted to do something to recognize and get to know the entrepreneurs out there who are making a difference in our community economically, socially and environmentally. We’re happy to say that edg3 FUND has met and exceeded our goals. Over the past two years, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know some really outstanding businesses in our area who are truly committed to not just making a profit, but making a difference.
In our first year of the competition, Pawzii, an online pet licensing company born in Bremerton, took home the $20,000 prize. Then in 2015, return applicant, OlyKraut, vied for, and ultimately earned the $20,000 “edg3”.
edg3 FUND is back again this year, and just like you, we are anxious to meet this year’s applicants. The application period opens up on July 1st. https://www.kitsapbank.com/edg3-fund/ Until then, hear from last year’s winner, Sash Sunday, about edg3 FUND and how her small business is making a difference. #EarthDayEveryDay
