In 2017, Alanna cofounded Vibe Coworks, the West Sound region’s largest shared workspace. As part of this work to accelerate Kitsap’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Alanna also forms part of the Vision Team at Startup Kitsap, and is a co-organizer of the 6 Month Startup program. Prior to founding Vibe Coworks, Alanna spent more than ten years in the international development sector. Her experience in global policy, advocacy, public relations and media strategy with the UN Refugee Agency, UN World Food Programme, International Catholic Migration Commission and WaterAid give her a particularly unique take on achieving social impact through innovation and cross-sector collaboration.

Andrew Fry is the Director of Industry and Partnership and Lecturer at the University of Washington Tacoma.  He is also an entrepreneur and a thespian.  Andrew enjoys teaching and preparing students to make excellent presentations. The School of Engineering & Technology at the University of Washington, Tacoma, provides focus for the rapid development of high-technology academic programs which serve the needs of the state of Washington. Launched in 2001, SET has supported the community by building facilities, classrooms and labs. Through innovative partnerships with area companies, internships and funded research projects, SET students gain real world experience to tackle the challenges of a continually evolving industry.

BrieAnna is Director of Events and Sponsorships for the University of Washington Tacoma. She has been with UW Tacoma since 2008 and has been leading the events team for over 5 years. Since starting at the University of Washington Tacoma, BrieAnna has transformed UW’s Conference Services unit into one of UW Tacoma’s leading front-line resources and consistent revenue generator. She has also increased sponsorship development which provides additional attention to the University of Washington Tacoma’s growing Commencement, Convocation, and other campus event traditions. BrieAnna received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.

Floyd Kolmer is president of Ad Mark Advertising and Marketing Services.  Founded in 1991, Ad Mark represents a variety of clients in numerous industries throughout the US and Canada.  This includes entertainment and consumer events, retail, medical device and treatment and the home building and remodeling industry. Floyd has served as a judge in the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business business plan competitions for several years.  As an entrepreneur and small business owner himself, Floyd brings years of valuable experience as a coach and mentor.

Joe Lawless brings over 30 years of experience in leading nonprofit and philanthropic efforts to his work as Chief Strategy Officer at the University of Washington Tacoma. Joe graduated from Seattle University in 1987 and after a few years in the advertising and sports management fields he began a 14 year stay with Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, the last seven as the Executive Director of the Mary Bridge Children's Foundation. During that time Joe created the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour, built a model Children's Advocacy Center, and led a $15.5 million capital campaign.  In 2007, Joe joined UW Tacoma to create and lead the Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility, which he did for eleven years. Before joining UW Tacoma, he was Director of Corporate Partnerships at Tacoma Goodwill after serving as Executive Director of the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation.

Stan Emert is the director of Sports Enterprise Management at the Milgard School of Business. His focus has been on management, international business, business strategy and negotiations. Emert coached high school basketball for 20 years. In addition to coaching, he assisted in communications and sports operations. Emert is the creator of RAINMAKERS.TV, a nonprofit documentary and interview TV/video series that celebrates the successes of people at all levels of the economic pyramid. His interview subjects included a wide variety of people from government, media, NGOs, authors, and celebrities.

After 20 years of service in the US Air Force, Thomas Kuljam started a career in commercial banking in the Puget Sound region. An entrepreneur, he has started multiple businesses, most recently an insurance brokerage and business consulting firm. Thomas offers a wealth of expertise in entrepreneurship, banking and finance, SBA, and other forms of business financing. Thomas has done consulting work for Los Angeles County and the City of Tacoma, and at present teaches entrepreneurship at the University of Washington Tacoma. He is currently Director of VIBE (Veterans Incubator for Better Entrepreneurship) at the University of Washington Tacoma. VIBE provides military veterans and spouses the education, resources, and supportive environment to use their natural inclinations and skills to innovate and create their own professional lanes through entrepreneurship.
