What is Mobile Pay?

Mobile Pay is a contactless payment system built into your Samsung, Android, or Apple device that allows you to pay with your phone in retail shops and within apps. No more having to pull out your wallet, find your card and swipe or insert a card in a terminal.

What do I need to use Mobile Pay?

A Kitsap Bank debit, credit or health savings card, AND one of the following compatible devices:

  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • Apple Watch-compatible devices (iPhone 5S and later models)
  • iPad Air 2
  • iPad Mini 3
  • Galaxy Note5
  • Galaxy S6
  • Galaxy S6 active
  • Galaxy S6 edge
  • Galaxy S6 edge +
  • Galaxy S7
  • Galaxy S7 edge

How do I sign up for Mobile Pay?
Apple Pay

Signing up for Apple Pay is simple and convenient. You can add cards on your iPhone within the Wallet app. Just tap the plus sign and follow the on-screen instructions. Once your card is successfully enrolled, a confirmation message will appear on your screen: “Kitsap Bank <Card Type> is ready for Apple Pay”. Your card has been added to your phone’s digital wallet, and you’re ready to go!

Google Pay

How to use Mobile Pay?
Apple Pay

Once enrolled in Apple Pay, you can pay for purchases in participating stores by holding your device near a contactless reader with your finger on TouchID™. There’s no need to open an app or even “wake up” your phone in order to use Apple Pay.

Google Pay

You don't have to open the Google Pay app to make a purchase with your phone. Wake up and unlock your phone. Hold the back of your phone against the contactless payment terminal. If prompted, choose "Credit" regardless of your type of card.

Samsung Pay

At any time after you've registered your credit or debit cards, just swipe up from the home button and select a card. Scan your fingerprint or enter your PIN and then hold your device near the card reader to pay.
