Kitsap Bank Names 2018 Scholarship Recipients

Kitsap Bank is pleased to present twelve scholarships to the graduating children of Kitsap Bank employees who are going on to pursue higher education. Among this year's scholarship recipients are North Kitsap High School graduates Erin Pearson, daughter of Jennifer Chaussee, and Carly and Cassidy Cloward, daughters of Corrynn Cloward; South Kitsap High School graduates Breeanna Davis, daughter of Angie Davis and Anna Dorris, daughter of Lisa Masocol; Gig Harbor High School graduate Jacey Cline Mann, daughter of Shawna Davis; Science and Math Institute graduate Wesley George, son of Tony George; Franklin Pierce High School graduate Kristin Gordon, daughter of Michael Gordon; Central Kitsap High School graduate Eliza Patenio, daughter of Liz Patenio; Kingston High School graduates Hunter Collins, son of Erin Sorensen and Ryley Tellinghuisen, daughter of Larry Tellinghuisen; and Decatur High School graduate, Zack Storvick, son of Jim Storvick.

"We are extremely pleased to provide scholarships to this talented group of students," stated Helen Langer Smith, Vice Chairwoman of the board. "At Kitsap Bank, we value education, and we are happy to help the children of our employees reach their educational goals."

Erin Pearson will be attending Eastern Washington University in the Fall, where she will study Psychology. Breeanna Davis will be attending the University of Oregon to pursue Interior Architectural Design.Carly Cloward will be attending Chapman University where she intends to receive her degree in psychology. Cassidy Cloward will be attending Western Washington University. Jacey Cline Mann will be enrolling in the elementary education program at Western Washington University. Wesley George will be attending the University of Washington to receive his degree in Chemistry. Kristin Gordon will be attending Seattle University where she intends to receive her degree in biology. Anna Dorris will be enrolling in the nursing program at Olympic College. Eliza Patenio will be attending Olympic College before transferring to a university to pursue a degree in Communications. Hunter Collins will be attending Olympic College, to continue his education in the Welding program. Zack Storvick will be attending Highline College where he will study astrophysics. Ryley Tellinghuisen will be attending Gonzaga University to receive her degree in nursing.
