Sustainability

At Kitsap Bank, we have always been focused on the long-term effects of our work. This is evident in our commitment to protecting the environment, and serving as responsible stewards of our limited natural resources. We believe that sustainable practices begin right here at home, and we are committed to doing the right thing, for this generation and the next.

EcoChallenge

In 2023 Kitsap Bank took on its first EcoChallenge as a team. On a platform designed to educate, engage and collaborate on ways to drive sustainable habits, Kitsap Bank employees embraced new ideas and made commitments to doing more for our planet. Small steps lead to big impacts. As one of the few companies to participate in Washington State, we joined nearly 600 organizations worldwide in a friendly competition with real-world positive change.

Earth Day

We believe in being good stewards of our limited resources and improving our communities for this generation…and the next. 2023 marked our 5th year holding a company-wide Earth Day project. A true family effort, over 100 Kitsap Bank employees, their families and friends worked alongside our partners at Kitsap County to remove invasive scotch broom from Newberry Hill Heritage Park in Silverdale.

Earth Day

I love that Kitsap Bank plans an Earth Day Clean-Up Project. I try to volunteer every year. I’m a gardener & love to play in the dirt and help beautify our community at the same time. #causegood
