Port Townsend Branch Remodel
In 2018 we completed the remodel of our Port Townsend Branch. As a company committed to being responsible stewards of our resources, it was important to us to use the latest in green building practices. The newly-remodeled branch features clean, modern architecture; energy efficient LED lighting, state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems and high energy efficient windows. Solar power is also utilized for a portion of the building's energy requirements, and the exterior siding material is a sustainable 100% post-consumer recycled product. Additionally, usable furnishings and fixtures from the former branch were donated to Habitat for Humanity.
Leading Edge Technology
The remodeled Port Townsend Branch became the first in Kitsap Bank's branch system to utilize ITS (Interactive Teller Service) technology. An ITS is like an ATM, but better. These units not only accommodate the customary ATM transactions; but with the touch of an onscreen button, enable customers to immediately be connected to a Customer Service Specialist. When utilizing the ITS, customers have access to nearly all of the services that are provided by going into the branch: account inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers; as well as the ability to cash a check or make a withdrawal, receive images of the items deposited on the transaction receipts, and much more.
