Kitsap Bank Promotes Carrie Heaton

Kitsap Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Carrie Heaton to Vice President, Risk Management & Security Officer. Heaton has been in the banking industry for over 15 years and joined Kitsap Bank in 2019 as a Branch Manager at Kitsap Bank’s Sequim Branch. She has steadily advanced her career, transitioning from Retail to Kitsap Bank’s Risk Management Department and to her current position. Heaton is a graduate of the Washington Bankers Association’s Manager Development Program, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Portland State University as well as a Master’s of Science in Integrative Health and Wellness from Creighton University. She has since continued her education by obtaining her Certified Community Bank Security Officer certification through ICBA and the Certified Fraud Examiner certification through ACFE.

Committed to her community, Heaton is a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship, and serves as Treasurer of the Sequim Food Bank.
