Interest compounds daily, paid monthly. See Interest Rates for deposit tiers and corresponding annual percentage yield (APY). At our discretion, the interest rate and annual percentage yield (APY) on your account may change. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. We use the daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (for example, checks).
* If account falls below minimum daily balance of $300.00 any day during the month, a $1.00 per item fee will be assessed for each item in excess of three (3) per month.
** Minimum balance required to obtain the APY is based on flexible, tiered interest rate plans. The more you invest, the higher the annual percentage yield. If your daily balance falls within any tier, the corresponding rate will be applied to the entire balance in your account.
