What is Credit Score and Report?

Credit Score and Report is a credit report and monitoring tool that will display your credit score after enrollment.  It has the following features:  

  • Available within Online Banking at no cost.
  • Ability to access your full credit report
  • Provides periodic emails with credit score updates
Where is Credit Score and Report located within Online Banking?

Credit Score and Report is viewable on the right hand side of the Online Banking dashboard or via the Credit Score and Report link under Services.  Within the Kitsap Bank Mobile App, you can select the Mobile Quick Link above your accounts on the Dashboard or the Credit Score and Report link under Services.

How do I enroll in Credit Score and Report?

From the right hand side of the Online Banking dashboard, select the Show my Score button.  Enter in your date of birth, check the authorization box then the select the Continue button.  After the authentication questions are answered, your credit score and report will display.

Why am I being prompted for authentication questions?

The questions presented during enrollment are an additional layer of security to protect your private credit information.  You will only be asked to complete these one time during the initial enrollment.  If you are unable to answer these questions successfully, you will be prompted with a 'Contact Us' link where you can request assistance directly from SavvyMoney or you can email support@savvymoney.com with your name to request assistance. 

How often will my credit score and credit report update?
One enrolled, your credit score and report will update every 30-days from the last date shown.  You can refresh your credit score and credit report once every 24-hours by clicking Refresh Score.  Once the link is clicked, a refresh cannot reoccur until 24 hours later.
What is a VantageScore?

VantageScore is a credit score model developed by a representative team of statisticians, analysts and credit data experts from each of the credit reporting companies (Experian, Equifax and Transunion), and is used by hundreds of institutions, including credit unions, banks, credit card issuers and mortgage lenders.  While the scoring model was created as a joint effort by the three bureaus above, each bureau offers the scoring model separately.  What is shown in Credit Score and Report is the VantageScore 3.0 from TransUnion. 

How does enrolling in Credit Score and Report affect my credit?

Each time your credit score updates, manually or automatically, it does not affect your credit score.

Does a certain credit score mean that I would be approved for a Kitsap Bank loan?

Credit Score and Report is a service offered via Kitsap Bank’s Online Banking.  Any Kitsap Bank loan is subject to our loan underwriting and application process. 

Who will be sending me emails?
Credit Score and Report emails will be from info@savvymoney.com. 
How do I opt out of the credit score emails?

Within Online Banking online or the mobile app, select Services then Credit Score and Report. Next select the Resources tab then View Now under Profile Settings.  Deselect the Email Notifications you do not want to receive.  Or once received, at the footer of the email select unsubscribe.

I have a joint account(s). How do I view the credit score and report?

The Credit Score and Report is displayed for individual consumer clients only within their online banking user profile.  A joint account owner would need to apply for Online Banking for their profile to see their credit score.

I enrolled in the Credit Score and Report feature. How do I unenroll?

Within Online Banking online or the mobile app, select Services then Credit Score and Report.  Next select the Resources tab then View Now under Profile Settings.  Scroll down and select Deactivate Credit Score Account.
