Kitsap Bank Spreads The Love By Donating To Area Non-Profits

Kitsap Bank made a surprise announcement for Valentine’s Day, donating $15,000 to local non-profit organizations as part of the bank’s mission to #causegood in the communities it serves. For every hour that Kitsap Bank employees volunteered in 2022, the bank donated money to a non-profit of their choice. In total, employees volunteered over 2,700 hours. Selected non-profits received notification of the surprise donations on February 14th.

Kitsap Bank also provided over $400,000 in financial support to more than one hundred area non-profit organizations in 2022 through the Bank’s Community Connections program, and hosted ten “From Shred to Fed” events around the region during the months of September and October.  These events raised over $18,000 for local food banks. Over the past five years, Kitsap Bank has invested well over $2.2 million back into the community through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer activities.
