Kitsap Bank is pleased to announce that it will be providing over $400,000 in financial support to more than one hundred area non-profit organizations in 2023 through the Bank’s Community Connections program. Through its giving, Kitsap Bank supports a wide range of non-profit organizations annually in the six counties it serves – Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam, Mason, Pierce and King. Kitsap Bank donates annually to local non-profit organizations that support and enrich the vitality of the community, including those invested in education and youth, environment and sustainability, arts and culture, addressing homelessness and food insecurity, economic and business development, and more. In addition to contributing monetarily, Bank employees also support the community’s non-profits directly by volunteering hundreds of hours each year.

“Our local non-profits help make our community a great place to live and work,” stated Steve Politakis, Kitsap Bank’s Chief Executive Officer. “It’s our privilege to be able to support these organizations’ missions and witness first-hand their positive impact on our neighbors and friends.”

Kitsap Bank’s community giving commitment stretches back to its beginnings 115 years ago, providing consistent support to area non-profits even throughout economic downturns. Over the past five years, Kitsap Bank has invested over $2.3 million back into the community through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer activities.
